As a child of the 60s I found these pages very cheerful and nostalgic. Like, if Peter Max had a baby with Paul Klee and it grew up and took a lot of LSD and broke into Michael's for supplies and stayed up all night making a sketchbook!
OMG! I love this!! This is so fabulous, I might have to come steal it. The one you said you didn't like, I loved that one! I love the photo of your neighborhood, and just all your fun coloring, it's really fun. And you get stars for finishing it! And how exciting to hear your voice! I know, what a dork, but I get excited about these things. Your descriptions are so funny. Thanks for doing this, I really enjoyed it!
Oh Chris...when are you going to get your own comedy show on TV? Soon I hope. GREAT sketchbook. And although you will miss her/him/it...I will be happy to send her/him/it a message from you when I visit her/him/it in person in Brooklyn!
I have watched this five times now and I laugh every time. I love it!! "And this is a thing that's happening..." You have a future as an art critic. At least the kind of art critic I would like. :)
Haha I still take my laundry to my mum's place. She has trouble getting out of her wheelchair so she can reach high enough to get it in the machine (my laundry) sometimes I help her :)
OH Chris, your baby is leaving. What a change for you. We are still adjusting... I have been away too long. But this video is wonderful and fun and funny, and your journal pages very beautiful! roxanne
