Yes, forks! I've completed another of Michelle Ward's fantabulous crusades. And I don't say that flippantly or even flip it sayingly. You, of all people, should know how much I love these crusades. Even the ones I have never completed myself have taught me so much. I recently read her Crusade 2, and was Blown Away!
After I found my way back to the studio (I liked to never get the leaves out of my hair!), I completed challenge number 56, I'm A Believer. In this instance, belief in my commitment to art and the process of bringing the inner life visible. Believe me, it takes a great commitment to believing in one's self to continue to do that.
Anyway, here's my journal spread.
One of the things I like about journaling is that we often don't know how we feel about something until we commit to writing it down. I thank Michelle for asking a great question!
Now I'm off to visit the other crusaders. You can find links to their crusade entries at the left side of Michelle's Street Team page. All of Michelle's challenges provide scads (technical term) of interesting, lovely, meaningful works from many different artists in many styles. Any time you visit the GPP Crusades, you're just asking for it.
Inspiration, that is.
Next Up: Chris sings out loud in the car with the windows rolled down and earbuds in. Many animals have their first real cry.
You know I was standing at the bus stop today, and there was a man singing his heart out with his earbuds in. I chuckled, didn't didn't die or cry. I visiting the crusaders now, I need a inspirational push.
ReplyDeleteChris - love seeing your swirling thoughts, and the joyous colors, as you ponder belief and believing. Thanks for sharing the work, and the revelation that you learned how you felt as you began spilling it out.
ReplyDeleteYou make a believer out of me too!
