GPP Street Team, Crusade 60 !

Okay, stop it.

60 crusades.  Five years.

Five Years!

Michelle Ward has been challenging us for five years.  No need to do the math.  I already did it.  Just call me: Answer Woman.

Five years of teaching technique, five years of providing inspiration, and five years of establishing community among the challenge participants.  I've met many artists and bloggers through Michelle's challenges over the past five years.  And she's not even exhausted!

(Which brings me to an interesting story: I once tried to do something 60 times and I had to be on intravenous fluids for a week.)

THIS month, Michelle's given us a love assignment.  THIS month, the challenge over at the Street Team is to make one or two journal pages documenting what we love.  Whatever it is.  Is that wonderful?  It's a LOVE challenge for February!  So, you could say (and I will) that Michelle has given us a special Valentine which has to do with us, the other participants, the world, the galaxy, and Scout likes it too.

Tell us what you love.

Well.  It may come as no surprise to my two readers that I love me some pens.  I love pens, markers, crayons, pastels, pencils, charcoal, markers, and even pens.  One time I loved a pen so much (it knows which one it is) I didn't have the energy to actually use it.

So I made this journal spread.  And it is evidence of my own personal evolution that I was able to put something other than pens on my Love List.  But they are so far down the list that I don't even feel bad about it.

Now that you know what you're up against, given that my game is so obviously ON, zip over to the luscious page Michelle has created for the 60th challenge.  She has once again provided us with some gorgeous designs to download and print and use on our pages or on gift wraps or envelopes or bumpers or sewn into jammies for your honeymoon.  Is this not wonderful?!

Yes.  It is.

Once again, I have the answer.

Next Up:  Chris shares what she was supposed to share this time, but didn't get around to it.

  1. It's a good thing I'm not doing this challenge. My attempt to fashion an art project out of See's California Brittle and Daniel Craig's abdominal muscles would be messy at best.

  2. Chris - terrific page spread! I {heart} that you made your list of pens with the actual pens. What a great piece of evidence to remember the qualities of each. You enlighten us while you're at it. Love the swirling list of other favorite things too. Thanks for all the street team love ;) Means alot to have cheerleaders like you who help spread the contagiousness of creativity.
