Where have I been?
Well, I've been trying to find a home for a rescued dog. But more importantly, I've been dealing with very sad family events and personal choices.
Because of these events, I've been distracting myself in the studio, sorting through it all and getting rid of things. We all go through this. A time when we have to re-evaluate. We think to ourselves, 'Hoarder? Can I claim that label?'
(Also... 'Thief? Did you take that picture up there? Or did you steal it off the webs?')
I ask myself these questions, and my answers are short and sweet: "I don't want to talk about that right now, but thanks for asking."
As I'm avoiding questions, and sorting things out, I've decided to give away baggies of goods. In the upcoming weeks I'll be offering goodies to you.
I realize that my idea of 'goodies' may differ drastically from your idea of 'goodies'! However, it's worth a peek over here just to see what kind of crap I'm trying to palm off on people. If nothing else, it will make you feel better about whatever things you are hoarding!

Next Up: Chris comes to the sudden realization that no one has yet tried to steal any of her images.
I'm not terribley sunny either. It must be the new year making us clean. I don't have bags of goodies yet, but I have a large bag set aside for my son's girlfriend, she's just a new hoarder.
ReplyDeleteSorry for painful changes, I hope they resolve in a more positive light soon. Cleaning up and out too, time to lighten the load and feel clearer. Maybe that's what 2013 is all about....xox

So sorry to hear you're in a bad place right now. It's a good time of year for sorting, purging, letting go, making space.

ReplyDeleteSorting and getting rid of unneeded or unused things, reorganizing, rearranging - all healing and a comfort. I am so sorry to hear you arte going through such a tough time right now at the turn of the year, but you are most likely engaged in an activity that will help you sort it out as well.
