A few days ago, I shared with you the cards I made for Karen's Blue Postcard swap. I made two cards and I got two back. And they are groovy:
This sweet thing was created by Michelle Pierron.
This pretty stitched one is by Carlene Taylor Simmons.
Both artists wrote really nice messages on the backs of their cards before sending. I love that! My two blue cards had nothing on the back except for my Moo card. What kind of lame-o am I? HUH?!
On the same post, I also shared with you my postcard in Karen's Collage Sheet postcard swap. We all used the same collage sheet, and it was interesting to see what people did with their images. This is the card I received back.
This fabulous card is by Leslie.
I know nothing else about her because she's apparently heard about me.
I also shared with you the ten postcards I made for Shannon's International Postcard Swap. So far, I have received five postcards back, and here they are:
This one is by Shannon herself, of Musings on Realities.
This pretty is from Carol Van Bork.
Jan Smith sent this one with the lovely button and cheesecloth.
You know I love the birds! This card's by Judith Blanchard.
This cool doodled card is from Tracy Lee.
As you can see, I've got some arty goodness here, and when I have received the final five, I'll share those babies with you. I am looking forward to making a postcard book the way Hanna Andersson has done, because, as you know, I want to be Hanna Andersson.
By the way. The Swedish words for 'Identity Theft' are really hard to pronounce, so I just gave up.

Looking good.
ReplyDeleteSwedish words for Identity Theft - literally LOL... Great cards you got back, you lucky girl..

Chris, what did you mean on my blog "stop working so flat" for yourself that is :)?
ReplyDeleteThe blue swap was a lot of fun. I got on a role and made several. Ironically I think I find it easiest to write a message on them when I'm not sure of the recipient. See you in the mail!
ReplyDeleteFabulous, fabulous art! I especially love Carlene's use of the paint swatch. So clever!!
